#2

So this is a drawing done by drew made with magic marker.

i met drew a long time ago when i was in college, kinda funny story. we were recruited by a shady criminal who was trying to create a local comic book/zine, and we were his illustrators. we met at the coffee shop a few times, looked at our drawings, then he totally disappeared into fat air. Then, my roommates at the time and i had a party, Drew came by, smoked all our weed and spilled beer all over my roommate's keyboard, never saw him again.
Until years later after graduating and mov
ing to CC, I saw Drew dancing with chicks at Fluid! HOLY SHIT! Hi!

So here we are, manifesting that shady criminal's destiny with Gov't Issue//!!!!!!

gov't issue - issued artist: Jessica Puma

We have an artist feature. From what I can see on her site, she has a simplistic stylized approach to large landscapes and a study of figures on rice paper, reminiscent of Egon Schiele with full on vag/balls out style, makes me think of a naughty teenager's scribblings, but drawn with confidence with a nice balance of elegant lines and taut rigidity in the forms.
Her use of color in the landscapes/architectural structures are neutrals mixed with sharp washes of color, some with a blood on a white bandaid contrast, some with soft soothing vibrations.
Am putting together some questions for her for the next two weeks.
Sweetness!
